This enables the drive forces to be distributed as needed between the individual wheels. The mechanical lock function is designed for excellent driving dynamics and distributes the drive torque without delay to the front and rear axles. The result is outstanding traction and directional stability. The optional electronically controlled air suspension with continuously variable adaptive damping system on all four wheels automatically regulates the vehicle height and damping. In addition, Audi drive select enables the driver to adjust the vehicle characteristics via a variety of modes.
